"Magnus Exteriors is a truly fantastic company to do business. I contacted numerous companies before deciding on allowing them to do the roof replacement. Greg, Jeremy and Jennifer were professional in all aspects from the inspection of the roof to the contract and working with us to find a happy median for the financial side. I’m very pleased with the quality of the materials, the warranty and the amount of time from the start of this project to the end. I will not hesitate to have them replace the roof on my parent’s house or any of my family or friends. It’s so nice to find people that are honest and follow through and meet your expectations. Thanks!"

Greg & Jeremy fought for me to get every dollar I was owed from insurance, and loved that they showed up on time and left the site cleaner than before. Thank you Greg & Magnus Exteriors for such a great job!"

Here's How You Benefit From Our Roof Inspection, Repair or Replacement Services
ROOF INSPECTIONS
Helps Detect Roof Damage - A professional roof inspection is crucial in detecting roof damage that can lead to moisture buildup in your home, damaging your property and exposing you to health risks. A local roofing company specialist can identify areas of damage and offer repair or replacement services, as well as maintenance tips like gutter cleaning and trimming trees to prevent future damage.
Increases Value for Your Money - Regular roof inspection and repair can extend the lifespan of your roof, preventing premature replacement and saving you money in the long run. Neglecting regular maintenance may seem like an affordable option, but it can lead to secondary damage that will cost you more to fix. Hiring a professional roofing contractor to inspect your roof can help you manage minor damages and preserve your roof's value.
Peace of Mind for a Homeowner - Professional roof inspection offers homeowners peace of mind by providing a thorough assessment of their roofing system's condition. With this information, you can plan and budget for repairs while observing a specified timeline. A roofing contractor can advise on the best time to conduct repairs and help you avoid future problems.
Keeps You Safe - Roof inspections are risky and potentially dangerous for people without the necessary experience and safety equipment. Qualified roofers can inspect your roof safely, detect hazardous areas, and prevent accidents. Additionally, they can advise you on ways to make your roofing system safer, reducing the risk of injuries or falls.
ROOF REPAIRS
Extends the Lifespan of Your Roof - Timely and professional roof repair services can extend the life cycle of your roofing system. Don't leave anything to chance; call a top-rated local roofing company to repair even the smallest damages, and you'll reap the benefits in the long run..
Saves You Money - Whether you need to repair your roof due to unexpected weather or unexplainable leaks, having a professional inspect the damage will save you money down the road and prevent costly roof replacement in the future. It's always best to rely on the expertise of a licensed roofing contractor for timely and affordable repairs.
Gives You Ultimate Peace of Mind - Hiring a licensed professional for repair work provides ultimate peace of mind, knowing that your roof is in the best possible hands. You can rest assured that the repair work is done to the highest industry standards and that your home is protected.
Durable Protection - Professional roof repair services offer durable protection for your home, especially if you live in an area prone to harsh weather conditions. Make sure to rely on a fully equipped roofing company to perform repairs to industry standards, ensuring your roof's longevity.
Identify Your Roof’s Weak Points - Repairing your roof when the damage is minimal allows professionals to identify weak points in your roofing system before they cause significant damage to your home. By nipping the issue in the bud, you'll avoid costlier repairs later on and maintain your roof's integrity for longer.
ROOF REPLACEMENTS
Adds Value To Your Home - A new residential roofing installation adds value to your property and is a solid investment. You can recoup most or all of the costs when you sell your home.
Enhanced Curb Appeal - A shabby roof with missing shingles and moss growth can make your home appear old and poorly maintained. A new roof from a top-rated local roofing company freshens up the look of your home, making it more appealing.
Greater Energy Efficiency - Outdated roofing materials and building technology in older roofs can cause heat loss and higher energy bills. With a new roof installation using the latest roofing materials and techniques, you can enjoy increased energy efficiency and cost savings.
Increased Safety - As roofs age, they become structurally unsound and pose a safety risk. A new roof installation by an emergency roofing specialist can help keep your home safe and sound.
Home Insurance Benefits - Home insurers may refuse to insure your roof after a certain age, when the warranty expires, or if it's in poor condition. A new roof installation by a reputable roofing company increases your chances of getting better or cheaper home insurance coverage.

ROOF INSPECTIONS
What Services Are Included During a Roof Inspection?
Before you hire a roofer to inspect the roof of your home, you may have questions about what types of services will be included during your service. During your roof inspection, a trained technician will visually inspect the exterior of your roof for signs of leaks, damage, and other issues. Your inspector will also take note of any areas that appear to be suffering from water damage.
While many homeowners wait to have their roofs inspected until they are ready to make a sale, you may actually want to have your roof checked out on a more frequent basis. Roofing companies recommend that properties owners have their roofs inspected twice a year. Inspecting your roof more frequently will help you identify maintenance problems before they get worse.
Even though it may be tempting to inspect your own roof, attempting to do so could lead to serious accident or injury. A trained roof inspector will have the safety equipment that is needed to reach the highest areas of your roof. Additionally, your inspector will have the experience that is needed to detect roof repair problems that may only be visible to a trained professional’s eye.
A roof inspector’s job is to assess the condition of every roof component. If there are problems with any component, the inspector will also determine the cause of the issue. Following are the major areas of concern and what they look for during an inspection.
Soffits and Fascia and Drip Edges
Gutters and Downspouts
Roofing Material
Roof Penetrations
Flashing
Window and Chimney Condition
Attic
After the inspection, you’ll receive a detailed report about the condition of your roof and what repairs, if any, are necessary to keep it in good shape. If repairs are necessary, schedule them as soon as possible—before the snow flies, if you can. That way, when snow blankets the neighborhood, you can be confident that your roof is in good shape.
ROOF REPAIRS
All roofing professionals will generally advise against DIY roofing and doing any repairs on your own because it is not safe, and very often, you end up needing a professional roofer anyway. So, to save time, money and avoid unnecessary risks, it’s better you leave it to the professionals.
In addition to that, professional roofing contractors have extensive training and are certified by the materials manufacturer, so you will also get warranties. And when the roof is repaired by someone who hasn’t been trained or approved by the manufacturer, you most likely won’t get a warranty.
Unfortunately, there isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer to this question.
The cost of roofing repair depends on the pitch of your roof, size of your roof or the roof area that needs repair, type of materials used, what condition the roof is in, current market costs, number of shingle layers, and the chosen roofing contractor. The best way to find out the cost is to have a free inspection done.
Always remember that your home’s roof is an investment, so opting for a quick and cheap fix will usually cost you more in the long run.
If your roof is very old and there are constant problems, replacing the roof might be your best bet. However, if you are experiencing a small problem, a simple fix may suffice.
Cracked, curling, broken, or missing shingles can be repaired to stop a leak, but older roofs or roofs with widespread issues and many leaks must be replaced.
The only way to determine what type of roofing service is needed is to contact a roofing contractor and get a detailed roof inspection.
A lot of different kinds of damages can compromise your roof system.
These are some of the most common ones to look out for:
Deteriorated flashings and loose seams
Discolored or cracked interior drywall
Leaks on your ceiling
Loss of asphalt granules (you will see them in the gutters)
Decaying, cracked, or missing shingles
These are some of the issues you might notice yourself, but for a deeper, more thorough inspection, make sure to call in a roofer.
Each roof is different, and each project has a different size. Roof repairs usually take a few hours, but the exact timeframe will depend on the extent of the damages.
You can ask your roofing contractor for a specific timeline once they’ve inspected the roof and when they give you their estimate. A good contractor will be able to give you an accurate estimate of how long the project will take.
ROOF INSTALLATIONS
It varies. A typical residential roof replacement can take around two to four days.
There are many types of roofs, such as multiple asphalt shingle roofs, metal or wood shake roofs, and some will require additional work.
For example, when we remove the wood shake shingles, you will have to re-sheet the roof deck with plywood, which can slow down the process.
How long a roof lasts will depend on the type of shingle, the brand of shingle, the quality of the shingle, and the components of the roof. But it also depends on the skill of the roofers who install the structure.
On average, a roof will last for between twenty and twenty-five years. It’s rare to see one last much longer than that, but it does happen. However, poor workmanship during the installation can potentially reduce its life expectancy or cause premature failure of the roof system.
Roofing contractors provide workmanship or manufacturers’ materials warranties or a combination of both. Most roofing contractors provide a ten-to-fifteen-year workmanship warranty on asphalt shingle roofs. Asphalt shingle manufacturers provide a lifetime warranty, provided it’s been registered with the manufacturer within a designated time after the roofing job is completed. In the event there is a defect with the product, most manufacturers require installing a minimum of three or more accessories from the product line to qualify for their warranty. Failure to follow the manufacturer’s installation specifications may void the warranty. On average, a roof will last for between twenty and twenty-five years. It’s rare to see one last much longer than that, but it does happen. However, poor workmanship during the installation could, in fact, reduce its life expectancy or cause premature failure of the roof system.
